ARC Review: One Night by Leatha(The lighter side of Aleatha Romig)

A sweet, fun, and sexy stand-alone romance from New York Times bestselling author Aleatha Romig.

One night to remember

Is that too much to desire?

One night for fun, passion, and a chance to remember what it’s like to be a woman.
I’m not looking for love.
There’s a man in my life who loves me with all his heart. He has beautiful blue eyes, is three feet tall, and calls me mommy.
He’s my whole world and I’m his. Fate stole his daddy way too soon.
What would happen if I allowed fate another chance, just for one night?

One night to help a friend

Why did I agree to this?
Blind dates are disasters. If I weren’t helping the friend of a friend, I wouldn’t go.
I’m not looking for romance, love, or even a one-night stand.
After all, the man my friend knew is gone. I’m no longer the hockey star known for his “pep” on the ice and in the sack. I have a new life, and a new career—a new passion. I’m not looking for more.
When the blind date is a bust, could fate change everything?

One night doesn’t end with a kiss—it begins with one.

Be ready to laugh, cry, and fall head over heels as you meet Leatha, the lighter side of Aleatha in this new sweet and sexy stand-alone romance, ONE NIGHT.

This was such a fun and light read. The MCs were incredibly lovable and I was rooting for them from beginning to end. Mandy was so cute and relatable. I feel like we’ve all been Mandy and allowed the pressures of life to let us forget the fun, carefree person we used to be. Malcolm is the man we’ve always wanted too. He was sexy and caring and generous. He was also amazingly patient. He never pushed Mandy to share what she wasn’t ready to or give what she wasn’t prepared to give. Another great read from Leatha. I have to admit, though, that I am thoroughly traumatized by Aleatha and was waiting for the ball to drop. Now I’m wondering if this is all a ploy to make us relax so she can fully Aleatha us on her next dark story. Am I thinking too hard? Overanalyzing? Maybe, but I love every word I read from either Leatha or Aleatha. This is a feel good story that will absolutely leave you with a smile on your face!

Paxton (book boy) The Great Hunt

Initially Paxton was such a mystery, but once he let his guard down he was just a tortured and scared man. He protected his family, and by doing so, he put himself at great risk. I can’t wait to see how his story ends. I honestly don’t know what level book boy Paxton is. The twist regarding Paxton was so shocking, I couldn’t come back from that. Paxton is just a wonderful character. I’m going with level2…

Natasha

I need more of Paxton. He was so closed off from the world, it was obvious he was hiding behind his anger. His interaction with the princess is building, but it’s hard to determine which level he falls under. His love for his family is palpable and his desire to protect his homeland is earnest. For now, he’s a level 2.

Nox/ Mr. Demetri (Book Boy Infidelity Series)

mr. demetri

Nox is a carefree, sexy af, man. He was so sweet with Charli and just fun to be with. We need Nox to balance Mr. Demetri. Mr Demetri is the epitome of a level 3. He is so yummy. He is the hawtness in this series. I can’t wait to get more of him…

level 3

Natasha

The Nox/Mr. Demetri paradox is the perfect combination of a man. He’s sexy and sweet, but can dominate a situation when necessary. Nox is sweet and tender, but Mr. Demetri is a level 3 to the max. He’s a level 3 with Charli, but also in his business. He is like a box with a lock and a peephole. He can be so open with what he wants to be seen, and so locked up about his secrets. I need to know everything about him…Everything.

Ezra (book boy) Absolution

Ezra, Ezra, Ezra… Finally a level 3 book boy this year. Ezra was the epitome of a level 3. He was dominant and wanted to own Evie, even though he couldn’t love her. With that ownership came protection that Evie needed, but surrender of control that she wasn’t prepared to give. Ezra pushed Evie past her limits, even when it appeared she didn’t have any. He earned her tears, and in turn became her savior. He was just the kind of dark we look for.

Only a level 3 book boy could handle the storm that was Evie. He was everything she needed. Ezra was dominant, powerful, and was able to protect her. Ezra was our very first level 3 this year, and I loved every moment spent with him.

Silas (book Boy) Never Never

Swoon. Swoon. Swoon. The moments Silas and Charlie shared were so sweet. He lived to care for Charlie. Silas was a level 1. Silas was adorable. #level1

-Natasha

Silas was so so sweet. He loved Charlie with everything he had, and loved her even when she didn’t really love herself. He was definitely level 1.

Beckett (book boy) Butterfly Dreams

Beck was a level 1 book boy. He was so caring and sweet. I loved him! Being a level 1 didn’t make him any less sexy. Beck was beautiful inside and out. #level1 #amreading #bookboys #bae #mybookboysarebetterthanyours

-Natasha

Beckett was so sweet. He had suffered through a life changing health condition but somehow managed to maintain a positive attitude most of the time. He was patient and always saw the best in Corin. He saw past her awkwardness, and baggage and LOVED her. Beckett didn’t have the domineering attitude of a level 3, but was sexy and sweet all the same.

Muslim (Book Boy F*ck Love)

It would be remiss of us if we neglected to mention Muslim. Muslim was a level 3 all the way. He just slunk into Helena’s life and slunk back out, but he made huge impression on her. I want more Muslim! Why is he on the run?
