Eagle from Beneath Blood and Bone by Madeline Sheehan and Claire C. Riley

Eagle was definitely a level 3 book boy! I hated his guts in the first installment.  But he spoke to my heart in this book and made his way on my forever list. Eagle is my book boy of the month because of his unwavering devotion to Autumn and tattoos of course. Eagle’s story is heartbreaking, but he fought through the pain and allowed himself to love and be loved again. Eagle is the epitome of an “alpha male, with a soft spot for his woman.” Autumn is Eagle’s only soft spot and I will love him forever because of that.

Eagle! Ok, so let’s be honest. He was a bit of a jerk in the first book. His story though showed a fuller view of who he was and why he was. I was a little concerned that he wouldn’t loosen up for Squirrel, but he did. His alpha shone through and he fought to protect his woman. Eagle is the type of man you want fighting for you because if he’s fighting against you, there’s no point in fighting. Eagle was big and rough with just enough tenderness to make you fall in love.
