Artist Kellus Hardin let love and loyalty cloud his past decisions, a mistake he definitely won’t make again. Now, lost and alone, he’s left to pick up the shattered pieces of his broken heart while facing the truth of his reality.
Arik Layne exudes power, confidence, and determination. But when an encounter with the guarded artist shakes him to the core and alters all his future goals, he finds more than just his heart on the line.
For Kellus, opening himself to love isn’t an option.
All Arik wants is to make the artist his.
Can love create a masterpiece when it’s painted on your heart?
We met these ladies in February @ the Rebels and Readers Author Event. They asked if we read M/M… We were like hells yeah! So, I purchased 2 books and got them signed. I decided to pick this one up and dive in. Boy oh boy, was this a good book. Arik and Kellus were so freaking hot. Arik was extremely domineering and caring. Arik took one look at Kellus and knew he wanted him. Arik was relentless, and I enjoyed watching him pull all the stops. Kellus was a sweetheart, almost to the point of being dumb. His story dealt with authentic issues and were extremely relevant. It was difficult to watch at times. My heart broke for him. But thank goodness for Arik, because he was there to mend our broken hearts…lol. The supporting characters were a riot. I loved their banter. This was a great read and my 1st from these authors. I am totally hooked on the slow build, which is soooo their writing style. Now… I have to read all their other books, but I’m not complaining. 🙂
