Rafe By Rebekah Weatherspoon

Rafe: A Buff Male Nanny (Loose Ends #1)

This is my first read of  2019, my first read from this author,  and I really enjoyed it. I don’t normally do books with kids but I was sold on the male nanny and a heroine that looks like me. I’m so glad I took the chance. I loved this perfectly paced book. Sloan and Rafe’s  thoughts were hilarious. I loved being in their heads. I didn’t know what to expect from Rafe. While he was caring and capable enough to be a believable nanny, he still exuded the perfect amount of testosterone to be considered an alpha. Rafe was a sensitive bad *ss, and I couldn’t get enough of him. Sloan was perfect. She felt like one of my good girlfriends, or my sister. I felt like I knew her. There was definitely some insta-lust, but also enough angst to disqualify it as insta-love. Rafe and Sloan’s chemistry set fire to my kindle. It felt like it took forever for them to accept the inevitable. But once they did, their relationship was  filled with passion and swoon worthy moments. The twins were cute if you’re down for the kiddies, but whatev. This was an entertaining read that had me dying laughing, swooning, and feeling as if I were hanging with my girlfriends. BTW,  I had so much fun!

Blurb:

All Dr. Sloan Copeland needed was someone to watch her kids. What she found was the man of her dreams…

After a nasty divorce and a thousand mile move, Dr. Sloan Copeland and her twin daughters are finally getting the hang of their new life in Los Angeles. When their live-in nanny bails with no warning, Sloan is left scrambling to find a competent caretaker to wrangle her smart, sensitive girls. Nothing less will do.

Enter Rafe Whitcomb. He’s all of those things, not to mention good-natured and one heck of a whiz in the kitchen. He’s also tall, and handsome, and bearded, and ripped, and tatted, wrist to neck.

It doesn’t take long for the Copelands to invite Rafe into their home. Just as quickly, both Sloan and Rafe find themselves succumbing to a heady mutual attraction, neither of them wants to deny. With every minute they spend under the same roof, this working mom can’t help but wonder if Rafe can handle all her needs…

**This stand-alone romance is fluffy. So fluffy. It’s fluff. Low. Angst. Fluff. featuring a large tatted, motorcycle riding ginger man, who bakes a mean bacon quiche and knows exactly how to wrangle clever six year olds while making their mom feel loved, loved, loved.**

While RAFE is a stand-alone novel here’s a suggested reading order to get you to this point

SATED (Fit #3) (Meegan)
SO SWEET (Daniella and Duke origin story)
HAVEN (Meegan)
WRAPPED (Meegan, Shae, Sarah)
