Wow! What a journey! Marni did an excellent job of weaving this story of friendship, healing, and love. I had an idea of what was going on, but I continued until I uncovered every detail and answer. The saying “Be careful what you wish for”… had never been more true. Once I got every heartbreaking detail, I was a wreck. Sheesh! I can’t imagine going through the things these characters went through. This was my 2nd read by Marni Mann and I will def be reading more. This was one of those stories that teaches life lessons. Lessons that will stay with the reader forever. Read it.
