Kit was such a coward. He was definitely a level 1. He should have fought for his relationship with Helena long before Annie came along. He knew what he wanted, and knew what would make him happy, but he stayed in an unhealthy and unhappy relationship with Della. He eventually did the right thing and chose Helena, but it took him YEARS!!

Yes, I have to agree Kit was definitely a level 1 book boy. But he made me swoon and I loved him so much. I think he was just so fixated on doing the right thing that he came off as weak. Poor Kit…
