Review: All the Ugly and Wonderful Things by Bryn Greenwood

All the Ugly and Wonderful Things

What a wild ride!! I placed everything on hold to pick up this book and I was not at all disappointed. It was such a slow build, but at 61% took a turn that made it impossible to put down. A beautiful story about how true love and acceptance can completely change a person. Wavy was such an odd little bird, but her oddities made her unique and special. I loved this story even though there were parts that made me uncomfortable. Life isn’t always perfect and expected, but this story speaks to finding love and happiness in spite of or maybe because of the mess.

I totally agree with Jasmine, I was totally ruined at 61%. I was going to put this down right before I reached the point of no return and finished this in one sitting. Wavy and Kellan’s story was not ideal, but it was still beautiful to me. I read so I can experience many lives through different eyes. This was a life I wouldn’t understand outside of the pages of a book, but I was invested in these characters. I rooted for them and their love. I wanted them to find their HEA. The writing was perfection. I have become an instant fan of this author.
