Let me Love You by: Alexandria House

Let Me Love You (McClain Brothers #1)

Well damn!!!! I don’t know what made this book so freaking good. The writing or the narrators, but whatever it was it produced a five star read. I don’t know the last time I thoroughly enjoyed a book this much. I laughed, almost cried, and gasped all through this book.  It was soooo good. Big South/Everett melted my heart and panties. I loved how Everett and Jo didn’t let petty bs come between them. They were mature and ready for love. No wasted miscommunication, lies, or secrets. Just honest and open individuals that made for an amazing love story. But those supporting characters were entirely tew much, in a good way. Sheesh! I have never read this author and it won’t be my last. The narrators brought this story to life. It was as if I were listening to a movie and not to people reading. It was an exceptional experience. I loved everything about this book.

5 stars

Synopsis

Trying to put past hurts behind you is hard when your ex is a fool, but buoyed by child support and alimony, Jo Walker is moving forward with her life, pursuing a career, raising her little girl, and trying to live in peace. She believes she has all the bases covered in her world. But what about her heart?

Rap legend Everett “Big South” McClain is divorced, too, knows all about failed relationships, and has relegated his love life to casual connections rather than pursuing something real. That is, until he lays eyes on Jo.

She’s exactly what he never knew he needed.

He’s what’s been missing from her world.

Will she accept what he has to offer and let him love her?

***This novel contains profanity and sexual content. If you do not like those elements in your romantic reads, this is not the book for you
