I felt like I’ve read this story before. It wasn’t an original plot. But something caused me to love this story anyway. I don’t know if it was the writing or Sparrow. I was pulled in and pretty much read this in one sitting. Sparrow was a strong and independent character, who stood up to Troy. I loved their banter and one liners. They were hilarious. I enjoyed how their story unfolded. Troy was def a level 3 book boy and when he finally realized his feelings for Sparrow, it was a beautiful thing to see him bend over backwards for her. I almost cried at the end.

I agree, definitely not an original story, but one I really loved. I was sucked into this story because the characters were believable, well developed and lovable. I love a strong female lead, and Sparrow was definitely that. And of course Troy was a sexy, level 3 book boy. There was a lot of anticipation toward the ending, and I found myself slowing down to prolong the inevitable end. The end did get a bit cheesy, but overall it was a good read.
