This was a well paced story about the mafia. I enjoyed it but it was not what I wanted. When I read “A Dark Mafia” romance, I don’t want everything wrapped in a bow in order to make a perfect ending. I was really expecting a #level3 book boy all the way through. Salvatore was a little soft in the end.

I was definitely hoping this would scratch my #level3 itch, but Salvatore didn’t quite do it for me. It was a decent read. I also thought things ended a little too neatly for my tastes. Life is messy, especially mafia life, so that’s what I was expecting from this story. There was a bit of drama, just not enough to make it an amazing read. Plus, the sex scenes between the mc’s were a bit awkward, ok, a lot awkward.
