I chose this author because we’re gearing up for the Mile High Author event. The cover caught my attention, but the blurb demanded I read it. This is the kind of book we live for. We read ALOT, and sometimes its hard for us to remember who wrote what, character names, and plots. But this is a story that will stay with us forever. We will always remember e.k., Landon, Tori, and Alec. I mean, this was an astounding read. My emotions were all over the place as my status updates on GR can attest to that. I never thought I could stomach a book with this subject matter. But, boy was I wrong. It was a train wreck, but I had my seat belt on tight. I could not look away for one minute. I identified with every character. I can’t say that I agreed with their actions, but I was able to empathize with their plights. I really don’t want to say too much about the plot because I feel readers should just jump into this one. Gah!! I loved it and I can’t wait to read more from this author. Nor can I wait to meet her at the Mile High Author Event. Oh and I learned so much about these events, I have never been to one on this large of a scale. Thanks e.k.!!!!

Ok, what a fucking whirlwind. Like, excuse my language and all, but really. I am so devastated after reading this book. And not in a sad way, but in a true definition of the word way. I am literally destroyed after reading this story. I knew I was going to be a mess reading this at 20%. I called Natasha because I was already stressed out. I had to force myself to read this book from start to finish. I was just sooo desperate to get to the end and see what happened. I also really identified with these characters. They were extremely well written, the story was extremely well written. I can’t discuss too much without giving the plot away but pleeeaassseee open up discussion if you already have read or when you you read this. This is one of those stories that stays with you. One that sets the standard. This is definitely a MUST READ!!!
