Review: Retrieval by Aly Martinez

Retrieval (The Retrieval Duet, #1)

This book was just what I needed, an amazing plot with an hot alpha. Sheesh! This book was soooooo hot, and it was all due to the fact Roman Leblanc was the hero. I’m not going to say much about him, because I’m pretty sure he’s going to be the book boy of the month. The plot was original and believable. I couldn’t imagine living through the things these women went through. This was a really short book, but it felt like it was 300 or more pages with all that happened. I loved Lis and Roman’s unbreakable connection. They were an amazing couple. She was a strong heroine, who didn’t take any bs, but COULD NOT deny Roman. I was rooting for them from the beginning. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next installment. Stay tuned for September’s book boy of the month…

This book literally drove me insane. I called/texted Natasha at least 10 times to tell her to drop what she was doing and pick up this book. It was that good. The storyline snagged me, and Roman kept me. I love a strong alpha, #level3 that loves and respects the strength of his woman. Lis and Roman’s story was heartbreaking at times, but their chemistry and bond were undeniable. This is a MUST READ.

5 stars (ugh, Roman, duh)
