I loved this so much more than the 1st book. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the first book as well. But dominant Adam was to die for and he ruled the pages of this book. We pick up right where we left off. Adam and Diana are fighting for their marriage and its a tough fight. I loved Diana’s determination and my heart broke for her. I wanted Adam to accept who he was and take what Diana was offering. They went through so many ups and downs and all I could do was watch with baited breath. I loved it! Adam was so freaking hot! Just writing this makes me want to read it all over again. This was a great read filled with hot scenes and great supporting characters who I’m dying to learn more about. My year in books is starting off right.

This book was difficult to read at times because I was rooting for Diana and Adam so desperately and I thought they were going to mess it up more than once. They just couldn’t get on the same page at the same time. It was hard to watch them go through it all. My pain and anxiety is a testament to how well developed these characters were. I was completely invested in Adam and Diana’s success. Adam was as hot as he was frustrating, but I couldn’t get enough of him. Diana was tenacious in her fight for her marriage. Another great read and another #level3 to start the year of right!!
