I liked this book but I expected a little more of an emotional read. The main characters were likeable. The plot was original and kept me reading. I loved how sweet Daniel was with Allison. There were a lot of swoon worthy moments. Daniel had demons, but remained a leader with integrity. Allison was dealing with a traumatic experience, but she was strong and determined. I rooted for them through their impossible situations. They deserved happiness. This book had a little bit of everything, mystery, angst, hot sex, a major twist, and evil villains. This was my first read from this author and I look forward to reading more from her.
