WOW!!!!!!!!! What a magnificent journey. Sometimes I don’t know exactly what made a story a five star read, I just know that it was. Its the feeling that these characters have taken a permanent place in your heart and a book hangover that lasts for weeks. That was this book. The world building was like nothing I’ve experienced before. It was so original, fresh and held me hostage until the last page. The characters were well developed and extremely likable. The plot was slow building, but engrossing. Again, I am a sucker for strong heroines…Shazi was everything I love about a great heroine. She was fierce, loyal, and caring. Khalid and Shazi were beautiful together. Their love is so much more… I need more. Until May… As a matter of fact I’m clearing my schedule for the release of part#2… #WhatResponsibilities

Ok, I’m not going to lie. This book took me a while to get into. Because it takes place in a different world, it takes time to build the world and describe the culture. The characters kept me reading though because I needed to know more about them. I wanted their secrets. Shazi was the ideal heroine. She was strong, but vulnerable. This story went from 0-60 at about 50%, and after all the building, was over before I realized. Once Khalid accepted Shazi, he fully accepted her and trusted her. I can’t wait to see where this story takes us. I believe in the strength of their love!
