This was a beautiful story with ugly characters. Gah!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Miranda was evil. There is no other word to describe her. I felt so bad for Seamus. He was so pitiful. I rooted for Faith and Seamus. I prayed for Miranda’s demise. I loved this story. I was totally engrossed in these characters. This was a character driven story that dealt with family, love ad forgiveness. This was my first read from this author. I can’t wait to read more. I also can’t wait to meet her at the Mile High Author Event.

Miranda was sooo evil, probably one of the most evil characters I have ever read. She had no concern for anyone other than herself. Even with this evil character, this was a beautiful story of redemption and compassion. I hated Miranda, loved Faith, felt sorry for Seamus and hopeful for the kids. The characters were so rich and well developed. I knew each of them and felt real emotion about each of them. Great read!!
